Step-Up Your Beginner Handgun Skills!

COMBAT HANDGUN SKILLBUILDER COURSE W/ SHOOTHOUSE OPS
(LOW-INTERMEDIATE LEVEL)

SATURDAY, MARCH 14TH
(10 a.m. to 1 p.m.)

If you’ve seen what great shooters our instructors and experienced members are, and you’d like to increase your own skills, this is a great course to consider. Over the three hours, you will be training to execute high-speed presentations from a holster against single and multiple opponents at varying distances, regardless of which side the attack comes from. The objective is to increase your speed while maintaining your accuracy, to increase your ability to think tactically while under pressure, and to increase your shooting while moving capabilities. You will be trained by one of our fabulous female instructors, the course will be run at a comfortable pace for low-intermediate-level shooters, and the class size will be kept small to allow for lots of individualized coaching. To take this course, all you need have are basic gun skills that you either learned in our Basic Firearms Safety Course or on your own. Note: You do not need to own a handgun to participate. One will be provided at a nominal additional cost (see note below).

Your training will include:

• Speed drills
• Move-and-shoot scenarios.
• Assault courses
• Hostage head shots and failure to stop drills
• Tactical and emergency reload drills
• House-clearing ops*

Location: Burro Canyon Shooting Park in Azusa.
Discounted GGC Price: $125 per person (NOT including ammo.).
Please note: This course is being offered by our parent company American Defense Enterprises, Inc. ADE’s regular price for this course is $225 per person (NOT including ammo). This may be a co-ed course, as we don’t turn away anyone who wants to learn to shoot safely. But a female NRA certified firearms instructor will be teaching this course. It’s a great opportunity to increase your handgun skills in a female-friendly environment.

WEAPONS/AMMO: You may train on your own handgun provided it is safe and suitable. But you do not need to own a handgun to train with us. We have a state-of-the-art armory and only charge a nominal cleaning/maintenance fee ($20 per handgun). If you train on your own handgun, you may bring your own ammo. No steel core ammo.

*Please Note: Training in the police/military shoothouse is never 100% guaranteed on any day. Preference is given to active military and police units, and sometimes the shoothouse is under construction or otherwise being utilized. If the shoothouse isn’t available on the day you train, we will set up complex assault courses to provide you with the same training opportunities.
