The Figge's Public Party for the Unveiling of “Evanescent Field"

Glow where you want-inside the museum or out on the Plaza. The Free Public Party kicks off at 7:00 p.m. with an indoor/outdoor party. Enjoy free admission to the Figge's galleries until 8:30 p.m.
Explore the exhibitions, dance to a live DJ in the lobby, and capture the moment in a photobooth.
Outside, the celebration continues until 10:00 p.m. Join us on the plaza for live music and entertainment, food vendors, a community art project, and more!
At 8:45 p.m., experience the unveiling of Evanescent Field-a once-in-a-century moment as the Figge becomes the Midwest's newest landmark of light.
What Is "Evanescent Field"?
"Evanescent Field" is a monumental light sculpture by internationally renowned artist Leo Villareal, designed to transform the entire exterior of the Figge Art Museum into a dynamic work of art.
