Girls Who Write First Meeting

We'll be meeting at Franklin Library's meeting room from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

6:30-6:45 pm: introductions and ice breakers
6:45-7:00 pm: discussion: writing goals
7:00-7:20 pm: free/prompted writing
7:20-8:00 share WIPs and workshop

All you need to bring is a way to write (pen and paper or laptop).
You are welcome to bring a few copies of what you plan to share during workshop. This is optional. You also are not obligated to share.
If you do plan to share: any genre and style (poetry, fiction, nonfiction, screenwriting) is welcome. Please be mindful of sensitive content in your writing and share content warnings as needed. Writing that promotes hate or uses hateful language is not allowed.
I will prepare a writing prompt, but if you'd rather use that time to work on your own project, that's fine, too!
If you bring a water bottle or drink, make sure it has a closed top.
