An Evening for HER - Celebrating International Women's Day 💐

Happy International Women's Day, Queens! 👑

Join us for a special evening honouring the women who inspire, lead, and uplift, right in the heart of one of Sydney's most beloved jazz venues.

Think dimmed lights, velvet moods, world-class cocktails, and live music drifting through the air. It's old-world soul with a Sydney edge, tucked away near Circular Quay and yes, it's as gorgeous as it sounds.

And the best part? We're getting happy hour from 5–7pm! 🍸
You will not find cocktails at these prices anywhere else in the city. The vibe is relaxed early in the evening, quiet enough to actually hear each other and have a proper conversation. Live music kicks in later at 9pm, so you've got the best of both worlds if you want to stay on!

📍 Finding Us
The entrance can look a little deceiving, the doors might seem locked, but just head into the building and look for the door right next to the big Curtains Jazz Club sign. Give your eyes a moment to adjust to the darkness, and then you're in for something really special.

Doors open at 5pm and I'll be waiting at the very back of the bar. Can't spot me? Just ask the staff and they'll point you my way. If you arrive a little later and our group already looks deep in conversation, don't hesitate, just pull up a chair. Everyone at our events is open, warm, and happy to have you.

💌 A Quick Note on Tickets
Tickets are $5, and that contribution goes towards two things: snacks for the evening, and giving the bar an accurate headcount so we can properly secure our spot. We all know how easy it is to say yes to plans and then... not quite make it. Think of it as a little commitment to yourself and trust me, this one is worth it.

That said, the kitchen is limited to bar snacks only, so we'd recommend having a proper meal beforehand!

First time? Perfect! You're in good company. Many of the women who come along are also attending solo, and for a lot of us it was our first time once too.

Our events are casual, welcoming, and open to all women, whether you're a creative, an entrepreneur, navigating your career, or still figuring it all out. Age, background, and industry don't matter here. You'll find yourself among good people 🩷

👗 Dress Code
No strict dress code, but the bar leans on the fancier side, so this is your excuse to dust off that dress you've been saving for a special occasion 😌

🎉 On the Night
There's no agenda here. Just good drinks, great women, and conversation that goes wherever the night takes it. Find a spot, jump in, and you'll feel right at home before your first sip is done.
