Ramp up your Git and GitHub skills before the hackathon by participating in a hands-on workshop with GitHub Engineers! If you’re looking for a quick and fun introduction to GitHub, you've found it. This class will get you started in less than 2 hours.

Beginners are WELCOMED and encouraged to attend!

Topics include:

What is Git vs. GitHub?
Creating an effective workflow for your team
Branching with Git
Collaborating in Pull Requests and Issues
Best Practices for Code Reviews
Merging and Merge Conflicts

This is an interactive learning experience, therefore reservations are limited. RSVP is required in order to receive an invite link to the remote workshop.

Note: Two sessions are being offered covering the same content (9:30am PST and 1:30pm PST). This invite is for the early session.

For the later session, RSVP here: https://www.meetup.com/GitHub-Virtual-Meetup/events/274698853/

Please RSVP to one session only. Looking forward to learning with you!
