CODEUP FESTIVAL
With the theme "Code To Freedom", is a major tech gathering holding on Nigeria Independence day. This event will also serve as an platform to prepare participants for the post covid-19 effects by leveraging on available tech tools and remote systems as well as relevant information for full scale effective productivity and profitability.
Also it is our annual all-day GitLab Community special gathering in Nigeria that provides opportunity for tech speakers to speak on different topics as related to tech space and community activities/challenges.
Participants expected to attend this epoch-making event is over 300.
This is the first GitLab Nigeria Community anniversary and it is an opportunity for participants to learn and scale up their tech skills from seasoned tech experts from across different cities in Nigeria, and be well equipped for the post covid-19 challenges.
Areas of tech presentation include:
- DevOps
- Community
- Open Source Contribution
- Scaling startups with GitLab
- All-Remote systems & structures,
- Post Covid-19, etc.

Glory Agatevure:- She is a software developer, opensourcer, contributor @ Wikimedia, Vice-Chairperson @ Python Nigeria, and Co-founder of AfricInnovate.

Kemasuode Bright: He is a 21st century problem solver, an educator and a creative thinker. He is the founder of Edusort.

Kenneth Ijama:- He is a Software Developer and Bootcamp facilitator, and worked with local startups to develop their product idea. He is also a GitLab-Hero and Head of Technology Operations with Powered-People.

Augustine K. Ngwu: He is a Legal Strategist and The Lead Strategist of
Amalgam Legal, a Legal Service Firm focused on Startups and Early-Stage Growth Businesses.

Isaac Ogbotor: He is currently residing in the UK (Scotland) where he functions as a Consultant in Business ideas, Leadership and Management, Start-ups and Idea synthesis for several companies and business organisation.

Afape Ruth Temiloluwa: She is a Tech enthusiast/evangelist with interest in Machine Learning / Artificial intelligence.

Onose Ogaga: He is a GitLab-Hero and the initiator of GitLab Nigeria Community, also the Project Director at WTEF and WittyHub.

OUR COVID-19 SAFETY ARRANGEMENT
Please note that all participants will undergo temperature test before they enter the event hall, they will also use hand sanitizers, as well as washing of hands with soap and water. Also, physical distancing will be observed in the seating arrangement and the use of nose mask.
OUR HACKATHON
