The GEC Awards Mumbai Kickoff!

Have you ever thought why philanthropist became more richer after they started philanthropy? Did you ever realize that world’s best search algorithm that google gifted us in form of a blank page and a single search bar in 1997 is still free, you still don’t pay to make friends on facebook or connections on linkedin? Do you know an Indian yoga sage duo managed to build an multi billion dollar empire of consumer goods and by giving free yoga lessons all their life.

We at Crowdera are taking a step forward to spread the word of #GivingEconomy with the initiative called, Giving Economy Conclave or #GEC. The GEC is world’s first series of summits/events focussed on converging wisdom of different world leaders from tech, media, charity, csr, entertainment and more to build a new economy, a better economy, the Giving Economy where Abundance Starts with Giving. The GEC would be series of events lasting from 2019 to 2025 (seven year) and is dated around the Giving Tuesday each year. These events will take place in seven different countries with last event planned in NYC, possibly at the UN head quarters.

To acknowledge the achievements of notable Organizations and individuals, Crowdera will honor them with The GEC Excellence Award for their outstanding work in alignment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. ( UNSDG)

GEC kickoff event is planned on the 27th of November, 2018. The event will be celebrated with the initiation of the #GivingEconomy movement, launch of #GivingEconomy Talks, and #GivingEconomy Awards. It's an informal gathering for changemakers to participate, learn more about this global initiative kicking off from our Amchi Mumbai!
