What we’re about
Here's our bucket list for planning. Have more ideas? Comment there!
Grand Junction Cyclepaths is for those who love to ride and enjoy riding with others. We do mountain biking and road biking at friendly levels. Unless otherwise stated in an event invitation, you can expect events to be no-drop events. Of course, it's up to you to make good choices about the level of the events you attend.
Everybody is welcome to suggest and host a meetup - just click the "Suggest a meetup" link and put in the details. Please make sure to give all the info people will need to understand the event and decide if it's right for them. Please review Suggestions for Event Hosts.

Join Freds Cycling Adventure for an exhilarating road, mountain biking & hiking experience! We'll be exploring the scenic roads and trails, challenging terrains, and breathtaking views around Moab Utah. It will be held April 27, 2025, thru May 3, 2025. We will be staying the full week at Arches Gateway Campground. (No packing up and moving every day) Whether you're a seasoned road/mountain biker, hiker or a beginner looking to try something new, this event is perfect for all skill levels.
The Road cycling will have a roaming support vehicle and a rest stop.
Mountain Bikers and Hikers can pack a lunch and snacks for the day.
As part of the cost, ($500) there will be tent camping, a Hawaiian Luau "Welcome Party" on Sunday, April 27 and breakfast each morning. We will have snacks and beverages in camp as well. To add to the FUN, you will wake up in a different decade each day from the 50's thru the 80's with music and fun trivia from the different decades.
For those who don't tent camp we have reserved cabins and RV spots that will be at a reduced price.
After an exciting day of biking, hiking and sightseeing, we'll unwind with a "Happy Hour" with mocktails (or cocktails, your choice, BYOB). Feel free to dress up for each decade for the "Happy Hour" time. Then go out on-the-town for dinner on your own or with new friends and come back to camp under the starry night sky for S’mores. This event is not only about adventure but also about building a sense of community and camaraderie among hiking and biking enthusiasts. So, pack your gear, bring your adventurous and FUN spirit, and get ready for a memorable experience!
This event is a Fundraiser for people waiting for Liver transplants.
