Gateway Gravel/MTB Across the Utah Border

No better scenery than this! Let's ride from Gateway into Utah (Road 4.1) along the Dolores River and then back. This is an out-and-back, approximately 20 miles but you can go shorter or longer. Gravel bikes, MTB, and eMTB all good. Perfect area for dogs, but too long and fast of a ride.

Meet at the Gateway Post Office (43 miles down Hwy 141 off of Hwy 50, about 1.25 hours from Grand Junction). Plan on a picnic there after the ride. The Gateway Store is right next store for snacks, drinks, bathrooms.

We might camp near the border that night and then ride further into Utah the next day and/or do the single track trails near Gateway Resort.
