Saturday ride to Maroon Bells: Let’s meet at the Aspen Rec Center Saturday morning at 10am, located at 0861 Maroon Creek Road. If you are planning on riding an E bike, please note there is now a $5 entry fee required for going to Maroon Bells. No timed entry is required for riding to Maroon Bells before Memorial Day. This is a must do ride, as the road will be open to bikes, but not cars. 8 miles to the top and 1,900 vert. Start at Aspen Rec Center.
Sunday’s ride: Independence Pass. Let’s start at 9 AM from the gate. If you choose to ride from the campground, that will add a couple extra miles.This ride is also closed to cars until the Thursday before Memorial Day. It’s 15 miles from the gate to the top and 3,600 ft of climbing.
