DTC - Twas the Night Before Christmas Ride

Riding the Lunch Loop trails on Christmas Eve feels like slipping into a desert carol, where the sandstone hums softly and the stars hang like tinsel above Grand Junction. Our bike lights glow like wandering ornaments as we wind through Hop Sip and Jump, Yes N Dee Dee, Time Machine, Miramonte, Aly Aly Loop, and other familiar ribbons of dirt, turning every corner into a small Christmas surprise. Tires crunch like boots on fresh snow, breath puffs out like chimney smoke, and shadows scamper away as if they heard reindeer hooves. The cold air carries a quiet magic, part joy, part reverence, reminding us that this is a gift earned by pedaling legs and shared smiles. For a few merry miles, the Lunch Loops become a starlit holiday tale, wrapped in grit, glow, and a little two-wheeled cheer. 🎄🚵‍♂️✨
