Glade Park Movie Ride 2026

Meet in the parking lot behind Brown Cycles (RiP) at 6 pm prompt, July 24th, 2026. Ride road or gravel bikes up Little Park Road to the Glade Park Fire Station to watch Movie and eat cheese burgers. (Bring cash for movie donation and eats n drinks) Ride is 3000 ft of climbing in 100 degree heat in 15 miles so intermediate ride and way more fun after it's done. Usually takes about 2.5 hours to get there. Head back home at movie 1/2 time to avoid traffic down the East side of the Monument. Maybe home by 10:30 pm ish. Bring front and back lights and it gets kinds cool up there after 10 pm. Light jacket.
The Movie is Rio- and everybody up there will think you are a hero. I always run into people I never expected (bonus). Last time coming home I squared up with a coyote on the bike path in the dark. Very exciting at 30 mph.
