From NZ Library School to Information Studies: 80 Years of LIS Education

Join us to celebrate 80 years of education for the information professions in Aotearoa. Founded in 1946, the New Zealand Library School laid the foundations for generations of library and information practitioners and leaders. The GLAMR Wellington event will bring together graduates, alumni, and former and current staff and students to reflect on the changing nature of the profession and the knowledge, skills, and values required to respond to the shifts in our work and context. All are welcome to come and join the conversation and engage with colleagues and professional contacts over light refreshments as another year draws to a close.
