One circuit of Strathclyde Park Loch , which is approximately 3.5 miles . The walk is predominately on tarmac so not much chance of getting those new trainers dirty , with the exception of the odd puddle if the weather has been wet on the preceding days.
We will meet on the steps to the entrance to M& Ds theme park within the grounds .
There is ample parking either in front or to the rear of M&Ds and the Alona Hotel .
The walk is relatively flat and circular route. On our return after our walk,we can enjoy a coffee/tea/snack in the Alona restaurant or M& Ds cafe .
Anyone intending to travel by train , if travelling to Motherwell station , I can pick up and drop off there .(3 spaces ) . Please message to to arrange this , if required .

Brass band... The Brass monkeys at Girdwoods Bar in Wishaw which is situated right next to Wishaw train station, for you Glasgow commuters and early enough to get back to civilisation at a reasonable time.
