Midday Walk- Strathy

One circuit of Strathclyde Park Loch , which is approximately 3.5 miles . The walk is predominately on tarmac so not much chance of getting those new trainers dirty , with the exception of the odd puddle if the weather has been wet on the preceding days.
We will meet on the steps to the entrance to M& Ds theme park within the grounds .
There is ample parking either in front or to the rear of M&Ds and the Alona Hotel .
The walk is relatively flat and circular route. On our return after our walk,we can enjoy a coffee/tea/snack in the Alona restaurant or M& Ds cafe .
Anyone intending to travel by train , if travelling to Motherwell station , I can pick up and drop off there .(3 spaces ) . Please message to to arrange this , if required .
