6:00pm – 6:45pm - PAW Patrol: The Ultimate Guide to Securing Privileged Access with Andrew Kemp
In today's digital landscape, securing privileged access is paramount for maintaining robust cybersecurity. This session, "PAW Patrol: The Ultimate Guide to Securing Privileged Access," will delve into the deployment of cloud Privileged Access Workstations (PAWs) and their role in enhancing security for businesses that may not have previously considered a privileged access strategy.
I will explore the benefits of cloud PAWs; whilst they are not a real substitute for physical PAWs, they offer significant advantages for organisations looking to bolster their security posture. I will share insights into creating an effective PAW strategy, securing access to privileged accounts, and implementing best practices.
This session will include real-world examples and practical steps to help attendees understand and implement these strategies effectively.
I will also cover some other privileged access basics, such as:- How to best configure privileged accounts
- PAW vs Jump Box
- What about legacy services such as Active Directory Domain Services
This session will assist both those at the start of securing their privileged access and those who already have a privileged access strategy in place. I will provide real-world examples and practical steps to enhance your organisation's security posture.
