Private and public sector companies continue to migrate services onto public cloud platforms such as Azure and competitors. Undergraduate and postgraduate teaching material has typically not included practical exercises that demonstrate modern cloud native development practices. This talk presents some of the challenges that are faced to enable teaching with Azure, solutions to some of the issues, as well as some longer-term developments that affect education.
