What we’re about
Hackers, crackers, geeks, hats of any colour, technology enthusiasts, hacktivists, and other like-minded folks are most welcome. We do not judge anyone and everyone has something to contribute, no matter their level of expertise.
We plan to host monthly tutorials and social events as well as the occasional security-focused talks and advanced workshops. We're very happy to welcome beginner members to learn as well as experienced members to help teach.

I'll be providing a selection of cheese and wine to encourage the mixing, but you are welcome to bring alternative snacks/drinks if cheese and wine doesn't sound like your thing.

HOPE_16 will be an all-ages event with at least four speaker tracks, a whole bunch of workshops, awesome vendors, and all kinds of fun activities throughout the entire weekend. This will all take place in a unique campus environment accessible by mass transit and offering free parking. On- and off-campus housing options will be available, with surprisingly low prices.
Join us in The Gamer Club for a weekend long watch party. We'll pick some of the best talks and have them streamed live on the projectors while we enjoy a drink and chat.
