The organiser would like to take a break from accepting new members. Around 99% of members join but never log back in again. To try and get members to attend one thing, from around 250 events, once, each year, is miraculous.

There's plenty of dull as ditchwater groups out there for you to eat and drink alcohol, which is what a lot of meet up is dominated by.

There's no point sending your views over. We have zero interest in them. Don't like it: just form your own group then.
