Canongate Brewery & Cemetery tour

This walk covers the area east of Waverley Station towards Holyrood, exploring places such as Calton Old Burial Ground and relics of Canongate's brewing and industrial heritage. We will also visit a secret garden, find out what Jules Verne thought of the city, and take a few detours into Outlander, colorful local characters, and forgotten institutions. Any donations to charity on the day would be greatly appreciated. This walk is held in memory of Sandie, a long-time regular who sadly passed away a few weeks ago. This is a new walk so hard to know exactly how long it will take - it may be less than the 3 hours stated above. Bring some good walking shoes as parts of the Cemetery path can be slippy.
