The committee proposes that the club's membership rates be increased from April 2026 as follows:
from £35 to £37 (adults);
from £30 to £32 (concessionary rate) for members over 60 y, registered students or un-waged;
from £52.50 to £55 for a joint adult plus youth membership
This proposed increase is purely to cover the increased Mountaineering Scotland club membership fees from 1 April 2026: (1) an increase of £1 adults (£0.50 youths) due to general cost increases (2) an increase of £1 to provide personal accident insurance as a new benefit as agreed by affiliated clubs at the Mountaineering Scotland AGM in November 2025.
