Culter Fell (748m), from Birthwood, grade B
Ascent, 500m; distance 11.5km, 5h walking
Meetup point: Community Hall, Coulter, near Biggar

We meet at the community hall in Coulter village, where we can leave cars.
We will then take the absolute minimum of cars up the minor road to Birthwood where parking is extremely limited.
From Biirthwood, we ascend Cukter Fell via Fell Shin which is very steep for 300m, after which the gradient lessens. From the summit we proceed SSE over the wee hump of Moss Law to the Coll at Holm Nick , then walk down the tract to Culter reservoir and then the minor road following Culter Water back to Birthwood.
