Club holiday to Yorkshire Dales: Ingleborough circuit, caves, gorges and summit (724m), from Clapham, grade B+
Ascent 660m; 17km, about 6h walking
Depart: Hawes YHA 0830, then drive to Clapham where the walk starts and ends (35 min drive).

This is arguably the finest route up Ingleborough, taking in some superb limestone features - the caves of Ingleborough, Gaping Gill and the impressive Trow Gill.
The return route ESE gives great views over Horton-in-Ribblesdale to Pen-y-ghent before turning S/SW/SSW through limestone rock to return to Clapham.
