Cort ma Law, Grade easy B

Ascent about 420m; distance 10 km; walking time 3h30

We start at the car park at the end of the road into the Clachan of Campsie and then first climb quite steeply up the zig-zag track up to the car park on the Crow Road from Lennoxtown to Fintry. We then continue climbing fairly steeply still up the hillside to Lairs (504m), then on more gentle terrain on to Cort ma Law (531m). We then traverse over to Lecket Hill and then descend to the Crow Road and thence back to the Crow road car park and finally down to Clachan of Campsie.

Members wishing to arrive by public transport can catch the 0915 Campsie Glen X85 service from Buchanan Street Bus station, Glasgow, which arrives at 1006. Return buses leave about every 30 minutes. Please check these times nearer the date of the walk if you plan to arrive this way.
