What we’re about

Hey everyone, the Korfball club has opened up a new session and are looking for new players who would like to give it a try. We run a kids club and some of the parents have decided to start their own session on Wednesday evenings. Never heard of korfball? That's fine, neither had anybody else before they came along. If you've ever had dreams about shooting a ball into a high hoop then please get in touch.

Following COVID guidance from the Scottish Korfball Association, we have started some non-contact training sessions in Queen's Park Recreation Ground in the Southside (just behind the bowling and tennis club, parking is best on Queen's Drive).

This session is genuinely aimed at total beginners so if you've never played before, you're almost over qualified.

If you are keen to come along, please bring outdoor footwear as we will be on the grass. Please also make sure you sanitise your hands before and after the session and if you have any Covid symptoms then obviously please do not attend.

As we are outdoors at the moment, we are also at the mercy of the weather, so best to check here in advance in case we get rained off.

Currently sessions are restricted to 30 persons and we must collect track and trace information on all participants. Therefore, please complete our COVID survey if you wish to attend:

As Glasgow is in tier 3, current advice from Scot Gov is not to travel into Glasgow City Council area from a tier 2 area. Hopefully this will change in the near future, but, ya know.

Look forward to seeing you there!! Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.
