Social Hike - Helensburgh to Balloch

Join us for a social hike, walking part of the Three Lochs Way from Helensburgh to Balloch. We will be using the Walk Highlands route below:

The John Muir Way leaves the pier at Helensburgh to climb up through leafy streets. It passes Charles Rennie Mackintosh's Hill House before picking up a forestry track which climbs to glimpses of Loch Lomond. The route then descends to Loch Lomond Shores (cafes) and follows the waterside to the centre of Balloch where there are all facilities and train station.

The walk should take 3-4 hours to complete. Please wear appropriate footwear, dress to the conditions and bring some lunch/plenty of water.

The train takes around 40 minutes from Glasgow Queen St. Please get the train that arrives in Helensburgh for around 10:15
