Nook is a terrific mid priced venue with American comfort food that has international inflections.
We'll sit at the communal table, share a lot of appetizers, and everyone can order their own entree.

Altare is a premiere producer of Barolo (nebbiolo). I have just obtained a number of bottlings from his exceptional vineyards from 1994, 1995 and 1997, but they are not be called Barolo because they contain other grapes in addition to nebbiolo. Langhe is the regional name; the vineyards names are prime Barolo vineyards: Arborina, La Villa and Larigi. Barolos from these sites sell for well over $100 each, and you can sample the field from this master winemaker for fraction of the cost.
