Ben Chonzie, north west of Crieff

As Munro's go, a relatively easy one. This is an ideal first Munro and will be taken at a slower pace. Ideal for experienced hill walkers and for those who are looking to stretch themselves and enjoy something more challenging.

You'll be afforded great views from the top down Loch Turret, weather permitting. It's on easy tracks and along a faint path over moorland, although likely boggy in places. An ascent of 734 meters so a good climb.

If the weather is bad on the day, we'll swap for a low level moderate walk.

Meet at Crieff Hydro Carpark 10am and share cars up there.
