Walk Leadership Training

Fife Young Walkers is dependent on volunteers who would like to lead fun, safe and enjoyable walks. If you think you can help out, then please consider joining us on a practical walk leadership course in Falkland that will equip you with the core skills for planning and leading safe and enjoyable walks.

We will spend a day exploring key navigation skills including map reading and basic compass work, dealing with emergencies, what kit to bring, essential leadership concepts, and much more.

The course is all taught outdoors in small groups of no more than 6 volunteers. It is 100% practical and is ideal for new walk leaders as well as those with some experience.

This course is free to Ramblers members and those interested in leading walks for us.
