Glitch Hunters is a meetup for people interested in a weird and deep questios:
Such as why has information theory become so central to modern physics?
And what would it mean if the universe were pixelated, like Minecraft. With tiny tiny blocks?
The group is devoted to deep ideas at the intersection of physics, philosophy, computation, and consciousness, with a particular focus on digital physics, emergence, and Cellular Automata.
Early meetups are centered around the launch of the Glitch Hunter book and YouTube channel. But this group is for anyone willing to follow strange ideas far enough to see whether they break. And hang out with other like-minded people
