With nearly five years of experience in Machine Learning, AI, and Data Science, Kshitiz excels in ideating, developing, and deploying innovative AI/ML solutions that drive business growth. He specializes in creating architectural solutions for AI products in the media industry, leveraging his expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deep Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and MLOps. He led the Fusemachines team behind the INMA award-winning AI product. Passionate about teaching, he enjoys mentoring aspiring data scientists and ML engineers.

Dr. Suresh Pokharel received his PhD ( area of research - representation learning in healthcare data) from The University of Queensland, Australia and a Master of Engineering in ICT from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. His main areas of research interests are AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning), semantic web, representation learning, software engineering, and application of IT/ML (Information Technology/ Machine Learning) in the education system. He has more than a dozen peer-reviewed scientific research articles published in highly ranked international journals and conferences.

The agenda of XAI includes developing methods and tools that allow users to interpret, trust, and effectively manage AI systems.
