We host a mix of talks, hands-on sessions, demos, and community networking events covering topics such as machine learning, generative AI, MLOps, computer vision, LLMs, responsible AI, and more.

1️⃣ Understanding Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Speaker: Roelant Dieben, Cloud Architect @ Sopra SteriaFor the past few years, we’ve all been finding our way with large language models — wiring them up to external data sources, giving them tools, and trying to keep everything robust, secure, and maintainable.
This has led to plenty of challenges… which can now be addressed using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for wiring up data and tools.
In this session, we’ll demystify MCP by exploring:- Its purpose and architecture
- How MCP enables precise model behavior tuning
- How to reuse context across sessions and personas
- How to safely delegate capabilities across teams
After this session, you’ll be able to assess whether your LLM projects should adopt MCP — and what that might look like in practice.
