As large language models (LLMs) go mainstream, it’s critical to know how to use them safely. Come learn how Microsoft builds responsible AI and safety features with Azure AI Studio and how it enables you to evaluate your own use of LLMs. We’ll cover how to mitigate content harms, hallucinations, jailbreaks, and bias and measure quality and safety of your own copilots.

About: Mehrnoosh Sameki
Mehrnoosh Sameki serves as the product lead of Responsible AI and evaluation tools at Microsoft Azure AI, where she leads a dynamic team in developing tools that ensure the quality, safety, interpretability, fairness, reliability, and governance of AI systems within Azure AI platforms and Open Source. She is a co-founder of several AI ethics open-source tools, including Fairlearn, Error Analysis, and Responsible-AI-Toolbox, and a contributor to the InterpretML offering. Mehrnoosh's commitment to ethical AI has earned her recognition in the 2024 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics, as acknowledged by Women in AI Ethics. Mehrnoosh obtained her PhD in computer science from Boston University and served as an adjunct assistant professor there from 2020 to 2023
