About us
Global AI Sarasota is the local chapter of the Global AI Community, the world's largest network of AI developers and practitioners. Our goal is simple: build a place in Sarasota where people can learn AI together, meet others working with it, and turn ideas into real projects.
Who should join?
Developers, data folks, students, founders, IT pros, and anyone curious about how AI is changing their work. You don't need to be an expert. If you want to learn how to build with AI, you belong here.
What we do:
- Talks and live demos on generative AI, AI agents, copilots, and the tools behind them
- Hands-on workshops where you build something real, not just watch slides
- Global AI seasonal events like Global AI Nights and Global AI Bootcamp, run locally in Sarasota
- Networking with the local tech community, from Sarasota and Bradenton to the wider Tampa Bay area
- Free resources from the global community, including cloud credits for hands-on sessions when available
Who runs it?
The chapter is organized by Pablo Piovano and Nick Nakasone, both Microsoft MVPs, with years of experience building AI solutions and running developer communities.
Our events are free, practical, and welcoming. Come for the content, stay for the people.
All events follow the Global AI Community Code of Conduct:
