Abstract: Some tasks deserve careful thought. Others need a quick answer so the next thing can happen.

Take a packed inbox: Decision AI can quickly classify messages, flag urgent requests, and route them to the right place. Then an LLM can investigate a complicated customer issue, summarize a long conversation, or draft a thoughtful reply. The trick is knowing which job to give each.
