Global Cafe is a casual language exchange and cultural meetup based in Tokyo ☕🌍
This group is for anyone who:
• Wants to practice Japanese
• Wants to try using a foreign language
• Enjoys meeting people from different cultures
• Prefers relaxed, real conversations over formal study
You don’t need to be fluent or confident — beginners, bilinguals, and first-time participants are all welcome.
There are no textbooks, no pressure, and no strict rules. Just friendly conversations in a café-style atmosphere.
At Global Cafe, we focus on:

Most of our meetups are held in cafés in central Tokyo, with small groups so everyone has a chance to talk.
Solo participants are very welcome — many people join alone and make new connections here.
