A taboo is an implicit ban on something based on a cultural sense that it is excessively repulsive. Although the cultural meaning of death varies according to our beliefs and background, influencing our perception of the topic, I think we can all agree that however, we experience it, we usually associate it with negative feelings.
🤔💭We are interested to know how much of not speaking about it reinforces our struggle dealing with the loss of someone that we love and our own, by putting the topic on the (equal) table and discussing it openly.
