Global Culture Circle is a small community in Kyoto where local residents and people from overseas share “everyday life” through tea, simple food, and seasonal traditions.

Recommended for:
• People who want to connect with neighbors from different cultures
• Those living in / staying long-term in Kyoto
• Families interested in multicultural or bilingual parenting
• Anyone who loves tea, home-style cooking, and seasonal customs

Events are small (about 10–15 people): world tea gatherings, multicultural family meetups, casual culture-sharing, and small seasonal events.
It’s a little “detour spot” away from the famous sightseeing areas: a machiya where travelers and locals share tea, home-style dishes, and stories about the seasons, and get to know each other’s everyday life.

We hope that the inspiration born here will travel back to each person’s home and daily life, growing into “Wa that lives in everyday life” and into connections where we learn from one another across borders.

Global Culture Circle は、京都で暮らす人や海外から来た人が、
お茶やごはん、季節の行事を通して「日常のくらし」を分かち合う小さなコミュニティです。

イベントは10〜15人程度の少人数で、世界のお茶会、多国籍ファミリー会、気軽な文化交流、季節の小さな集まりなど。
有名な観光地からそっと外れた小さな寄り道スポット。町屋でお茶や家庭料理、季節の話を分かち合いながら、旅行者と地域の人が互いの暮らしを知り合う場所。ここで生まれたインスピレーションが、それぞれの国や日常に持ち帰られ、「暮らしに息づく和」と、学び会うつながりへ広がっていくことを目指します。
