What: A one hour event where you will connect with likeminded entrepreneurs to share ideas, connections, resources, and advice.
How should you prepare?
Prior to attending, you should think about whom you are looking to meet. Who is your ideal referral or introduction? Your first thought may be thinking about your ideal client, but that is not what you want to be asking for. People meeting you for the first time may not be comfortable referring you people to sell to.
Instead, think about who shares your audience. Who knows your clients? Whose audience is similar to your audience? Who can you partner and even joint venture with? whose clients can you provide value to?
If you have this information prepared, then you will have a much more effective networking experience.
Come ready to give, not just take
The best way to approach a networking space is to be ready to share any resources you have, without expectation or return. If you do that, you will find others of the same mindset ready to help you.
