Let's create a 𝗧𝘀𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹

Global Plymouth is running a social media storytelling campaign called 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘴 to spotlight everyday heroes under the theme “𝘊𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦.”

The campaign was born out of a simple idea: while hatred and fear are tearing communities apart, we can choose a different path. Instead of giving oxygen to negativity, we want to highlight the quiet acts of love, kindness, and support that build stronger, more compassionate communities. Our aim is to create a “𝙏𝙨𝙪𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙞 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡” that drowns out division with hope and inspiration.

𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻, 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝟱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. Each represents the wonderful diversity of humankind and yet celebrates the common desire to care for each other deeply.

𝗪𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂. 𝗜𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄. Each story is short (about 300 words) and paired with a photo, which we’ll share online and add to a global collage of heroes.
