About us
We're a casual group of language learners who get together on weekends to practice and learn from each other. Whether you're just starting out or already pretty far along, we meet up to have real conversations, share resources that actually work, and help each other get over the common stumbling blocks. The idea is pretty simpleβlearning a language is easier and way more fun when you're doing it with other people who get what you're going through.
We focus on peer learning, which means we're not waiting around for a teacher to show up. We work together, try things out, make mistakes, and figure stuff out as a group. You might practice speaking, work through grammar together, share podcast recommendations, or just chat about what's been working for you lately. We keep things relaxed and judgment-free because that's the only way people actually feel comfortable trying new things with a language.
If you're learning any language and want to be around others who are serious about it but not taking themselves too seriously, come hang out with us. We meet on weekends, keep our groups manageable so everyone gets a chance to participate, and honestly just enjoy the process together. No pressure, no pretense, just people showing up for each other.

No Korean needed: this is a live beginner class on Zoom, explained in English. Start a friendly conversation, give a compliment, swap KakaoTalk, ask someone out and say or hear no gracefully, in polite Korean.
In the hour, you'll learn to:
- Say yes warmly, or say no politely
- Ask for a phone number or KakaoTalk and send a first message
- Start a polite conversation and ask about hobbies
- Invite someone for coffee or a meal and agree on a day
- Take a no gracefully and end on a kind note
Every word comes with romanization, so you don't need to read Hangul yet.
Each phrase comes with how to say it and when to use it. Near the end you try it out loud in a breakout room of 2 or 3, and you keep a phrase sheet with a week of practice ideas.
No fluency promises: one hour is a real start, and the phrase sheet helps you keep it. Camera optional, nothing recorded.

A live one-hour German class on Zoom for complete beginners. We start from hello, everything is explained in English, and you speak from the first minutes.
In the hour, you'll learn to:
- Say where you are from and where you live
- Say hello and goodbye politely, at any time of day
- Introduce yourself and ask someone their name
- Ask people to slow down or repeat when you get lost
You repeat together with the whole class (nobody is singled out), then practise in small breakout rooms of 2 or 3. Afterwards your phrase sheet with a pronunciation guide stays in your account.
At most 12 people. Camera optional, nothing recorded, so feel free to get things wrong.
