Globe Café- Open Mic
Details
Come on down, as usual, to The Dock Cafe, in Titanic Quarter, Belfast, for a wonderful international gathering. Tonight is an Open Mic night, which means there will be a guitar, and mic available for anyone who wants to sing a few songs/play some music for everyone to enjoy. Feel free to bring other instruments. It's a low pressure set up, because folks tend to chat while the musicians play. The building is currently covered in scaffolding, but don't worry, you will be able to find us! We'll meet you at the door and give you a name badge- we really find these help people to mix more easily. There are usually approx 40 people at Globe Cafe, so there are plenty of people to chat to even if the sign ups look low (regular attendees often don't 'sign up'). We have very good coffee and a huge range of Suki teas, and sweet treats. We operate as an 'Honesty Box Cafe', so you can choose how much money you donate for the evening- either cash or card. All money donated goes towards the running of the event, which we aim to keep self sustaining. See you there!
