Gathering interest to see if anyone wants me to run a beginners intro to running 5k.

Disclaimer i am not a trained run leader but have been running for a long time. This will just be a meeting of 18+ adults who want to meetup and learn to run.

This programme will be ideal for people who have never run or exercised before and dont know where to start.

This would typically be a 8-10 week programme after which youll know how to complete a 5k continuous run. Everyone will run differently, everyone’s pace will be different.

You will need to have capacity to train 3 days a week for around 30-40 mins. I will lead one session per week and you will repeat twice on your own or hopefully with other members of the group. I will try to add ah hoc extra days in too.

I’m local to Kingsway so runs on a Thursday will be based From this area as i knoww all the good safe routes.

You will need some trainers/run shoes - affordabke ones can be found at sportshoes.com a hi vis item (tshirt or run belt) or lights as it will be dark. If you have boobs you’ll want a decent a sports bra.

I’m not a medic or a first aider so please se consult a professional before you join if you have any concerns about your health or ability to train.
