Looking for a book club that’s a little less literary classics and a little more murder, magic, romance and plot twists?
The Plot Thickens is a relaxed, social book club in Gloucester for anyone who loves fun genre reads — crime, thrillers, fantasy, romantasy, horror, romance and more.
We’ll meet once a month in a Gloucester pub or bar to chat about that month’s book, have a drink and meet new people. The aim is good books and good company rather than serious literary analysis!
Come on your own, come if you’re new to Gloucester, come if you’re getting back into reading — everyone is welcome.
And there’s absolutely no pressure to finish the book. Sometimes the books we hate make for the best conversations. 😂
