Field Trip - Introduction to the Pine Barrens

With a combination of short drives and walks, we will visit several pinelands environments and look for some typical plants, including local specialties and a few “carnivorous” species. Other taxa (birds, herps, lichens) will not be ignored..

Meet at 9:30 AM at the Brendan Byrne office, on the south side of Route 70 about one mile northeast of the intersection with Route 72 at the Four Mile traffic circle.
