Birding Basics

Join us to learn the basics of good birding and the tools of the trade. Discover the world of birding from bird guides to binoculars, birding etiquette to bird song and, of course, bird identification. We will discuss the tools the library has to help you begin birding. Additionally, we will have various styles of field guides and binoculars on display that you can try. Any level of interest is welcome. Questions are encouraged. We will head outside at the end of class to try out your newfound — or refreshed — skills.
