What we’re about
A group for ladies over 45 to meet up with other ladies , enjoy social activities and to make friends in Gloucester and the surrounding areas.
There will initially be one to two events per month.
Events will include coffee meets up, lunch meet ups, meals, comedy and walks.
The group will be kept deliberately small (ish) so that ladies can actually connect and make friends eventually and hopefully for their lives outside of the group x.
Live comedy is one of my favourite past times , so trying out the monthly comedy club at the Guildhall in Gloucester city Centre.
I have booked seat D10 , and all of rest of that row is currently free.
Please book your own ticket and advise me of your seat number.
RSVP's close on Monday 1st September at 10pm.

Please note that this is also on my comedy meet up group and so there may be men present at the event as well.
I will be sat in the bar area from 7.30pm.
Show details:
Guildhall Comedy Club brings the finest new touring comedians to Gloucester with local comedian Nik Hill as your MC.
Hosted in the Guildhall Cinema, this intimate version of our comedy club offers the perfect atmosphere for a good weeknight laugh.
RICKY BALSHAW
As well as not only being a British Paralympian, this young man is now making major waves on the UK Comedy circuit; destined for bigger things for sure this is an opportunity to catch him on the way up, being able to say, quoting MAX BOYCE, "I was there".
An irreverent and close to the edge comedy mind coupled with a down to earth approach to life makes him stand out and guarantees to have audiences talking about him for days afterwards.
ROGER MONKHOUSE
Sometimes we all want someone to just tell it as it is, don't sugarcoat life, don't make things up just to please an audience, just be honest - well that's exactly what Mr Monkhouse brings to the table; somewhat life weary but realistic, his material does exactly what it says on the tin; a top raconteur with a slightly acerbic twist has made him a firm favourite for comedy audiences across the UK.
NIK HILL
6.1.2004, a date etched into Nik Hills Comedy mind, not only was it the start of a new venture, A Giggle At The Guild, but also the platform that propelled his comedy career along; the Guildhall cinema room saw the likes of Sarah Millican, Jon Richardson, Charlie Baker, Andy Zaltzman, Gary Delaney all ply their trade in their early years before going on to greatness and so this is like a homecoming.
Since then Nik has established a reputation in the County as one of the Comedy pioneers, hosting gigs at a diverse number of venues with the same intention, bringing the best UK comedy talent to the City.
In 2023 he won the Leicester Comedy Festival Silver Stand up award and has also hosted sporting events interviewing legends such as Frank Bruno and Jason Leonard.
Gloucester born and bred, ex Cathedral Chorister he had the honour, in 2025, of being the only Comedian ever to perform in the hallowed Nave of our very own Cathedral
