About us
Gloucester Vale Conservation Volunteers (GVCV) is a friendly and diverse group of volunteers who undertake practical, outdoor conservation tasks which benefit the natural environment and improve access to nature. We are affiliated to The Conservation Volunteers (TCV, formerly BTCV), have experienced task leaders and provide all tools and equipment needed by our volunteers.

Tree works on the Kemerton Estate, Woodmancote

We will be removing tree guards that are no longer needed (along a new hedgerow) and 'popping' regrowth/saplings around the Lake.

Look out for a green gate. Please drive through it onto the Kemerton estate and park at the bottom of the track or along the path.You don’t need to bring any tools but if you have work gloves you prefer to wear you are welcome to bring your own. There will also be club gloves you can borrow.
Please also bring a hot drink, lunch, water and clothes appropriate to the weather forecast.
Please RSVP by COP Thursday the week before to allow for tool collection. Car sharing is encouraged. If you would like a lift or can offer one please post on the feed.
