Medieval Moat clearance in Quedgeley 

Join us for a day helping out at Quedgeley clearing a moat!

Location: New site , The Moat , Quedgeley, Gloucester

Note this is a change of task location to the usual Quedgeley Nature reserve

A medieval moat, scrub bashing on the island and the bank side. Bramble, Dogwood, other small tree removal, brash removal and raking

Working for the Council to clear the ground ready for future tree and bulb planting, to create a reserve

Meet 9.45, at the junction of School lane and Scholers walk , Quedgeley, GL2 4SQ

Please park along School lane

You don’t need to bring any tools but if you have work gloves you prefer to wear you are welcome to bring your own. There will also be club gloves you can borrow.

Please also bring a hot drink, lunch, water and clothes appropriate to the weather forecast.

Please RSVP by COP Thursday the week before to allow for tool collection. Car sharing is encouraged. If you would like a lift or can offer one please post on the feed.
