This meet-up is a relaxed and welcoming space for people taking GLP-1 medications for weight loss. It’s a chance to share experiences, offer support, and connect with others on a similar journey. Whether you’re new to GLP-1s or have been on them for a while, this group is about community, encouragement, and exchanging helpful insights.

Agenda for our 1st group meeting:

1. Welcome & Introductions (15-20 mins)
• Brief introduction from the host (Karen) about the purpose of the group.
• Each participant shares their name, why they joined, and where they are in their GLP-1 journey (optional).

2. Sharing Experiences & Open Discussion (30-40 mins)
• How has GLP-1 medication affected your weight loss journey?
• What side effects or benefits have you noticed?
• What challenges have you faced, and what has helped you?
• Tips for managing appetite, energy levels, and emotional well-being.

3. Practical Tips & Resources (20-30 mins)
• Meal ideas and nutrition tips while on GLP-1s.
• Exercise and movement suggestions.
• Mindset and motivation strategies.
• Open floor for participants to share helpful resources.

4. Socialising & Next Steps (20 mins)
• Casual chat and getting to know each other.
• Ideas for future meet-ups.
• Wrap-up and feedback.

What to Bring
• A notebook if you’d like to jot down useful tips.
• Any helpful books, meal plans, or resources to share.
• A small healthy snack if desired (optional).
• An open mind and a willingness to connect!

This will be an informal and supportive gathering, so just come as you are and enjoy the chance to meet others on the same journey.
